Lawrence Welk ChristmasThis week's episode is entitled "A Pretty Girl" and is hosted by youngest of the Lennon Sisters, Janet Lennon and features a guest appearance by Pat Boone. Lawrence Welk and his Champagne Music Makers start off the show with the theme song of the Ziegfeld Follies: Irving Berlin's "A Pretty Girl Is Like A Melody." Larry Hooper, Larry Dean, Rocky Rockwell, Dick Dale, Bob Lido, and Aladdin sing "Spring, Spring, Spring" while Myron Floren and Jo Ann Castle perform an accordion duet of the "Hot Foot Polka." Aladdin also gives the Lennon Sisters a "Music Lesson" in an entertaining music skit that fans will remember.  Larry Hooper sings one of his hit songs, "Oh, Happy Day," which became a Billboard hit song in 1953. Featured guest, Pat Boone, also sings his 1961 Billboard #1 Hit "Moody River" in this classic episode!
