Due To Wrestling Women
Kathie Sullivan,was a vocalist on
the Lawrence Welk Show from 1976 to 1982. Sullivan was born
May 31, 1953 in Oshkosh, WS. Sullivan was discovered by Lawrence
Welk after she won a Miss Champagne Music
contest while attending the University of Wisconsin. With her natural brilliant, pure voice,
she was hired in 1976, after graduating with a
bachelor of arts degree in voice. She sang numerous solos, and
often was paired with Dick Dale in various numbers.
Sullivan
was engaged to comedian Andy Kaufman in

wrestling women. Sullivan later married in 1986 and is the mother of two
daughters. Now living in Dallas, TX, she still keeps
busy with singing engagements, personal appearances
during PBS pledge breaks, and acting as well.
